Blessed art thou, Alma, and blessed are they who were baptized in the waters of Mormon. Thou art blessed because of thy exceeding faith in the words alone of my servant Abinadi.
We are blessed when we choose to believe God's word without physical evidence or proof. He is pleased when we take his word on faith and give it a chance to work in us. The Spirit will deliver all the evidence we need once we demonstrate our willingness to try the word.
