When our sins become habits, they can be hard to break. Addictions can become so powerful that we appear powerless to loosen the chains that bind us. Sin repeated and indulged in becomes iniquity, which can be a mighty chain indeed. We need both strength and strategy to overcome such a mighty and deeply embedded adversary. God is the strength, and Christ's atonement is the strategy.
