Mosiah 12:21

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings; that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good; that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth;

We do not normally think of feet as beautiful. So why are the feet of the messengers on the mountain described as beautiful? Because feet represent the power to move and act. It is not the physical feet of these missionaries that are beautiful, but their service, their actions, the effort they make to bring glad tidings of atonement and redemption to everyone they can possibly reach. They are beautiful not only to God but to those whose hearts they touch and whose lives they change. Forty-seven years later I think with great fondness of Elders Bloomfield and Hampton, who taught my family the gospel.
