And now I, Mormon, proceed to finish out my record, which I take from the plates of Nephi; and I make it according to the knowledge and the understanding which God has given me.
God works with us the way we are. He knows our strengths and weaknesses, our capabilities and our limitations, our knowledge and our ignorance. He knows exactly how to get the best out of us. He works wonders despite all our shortcomings. He fits our tasks and trials to our abilities, and his grace is sufficient.
