The Lord did not provide an abundance or a surplus so Lehi's family could be comfortable and at ease. He provided from day to day. They had to learn faith that the morrow would take care of itself. "Give us this day our daily bread," says the Lord's prayer, not give us this week our allotment and to spare. The blessings we receive today are big enough for the challenges we face today. Each day is enough to focus on. We keep our faith day by day.
