Yea, and the Lord said also that: After ye have arrived in the promised land, ye shall know that I, the Lord, am God; and that I, the Lord, did deliver you from destruction; yea, that I did bring you out of the land of Jerusalem.
Seen in their proper perspective, the big trials in our lives teach us and testify that God is at work in our lives. From an eternal perspective, when we reach the promised land of exaltation, we will truly realize that it is only through the power of the Atonement and the grace of God that we are saved and exalted.
