Now I, Nephi, did not work the timbers after the manner which was learned by men, neither did I build the ship after the manner of men; but I did build it after the manner which the Lord had shown unto me; wherefore, it was not after the manner of men.
When we do the Lord's work, we must do it his way. We cannot work after the manner of men, for if we do God's work the world's way, we will fail. Our first task is to find out how he wants us to work to accomplish our assignment and then to follow those instructions. Only by doing the Lord's work in the Lord's way will we succeed.
