Second Nephi 28:32
Wo be unto the Gentiles, saith the Lord God of Hosts! For notwithstanding I shall lengthen out mine arm unto them from day to day, they will deny me; nevertheless, I will be merciful unto them, saith the Lord God, if they will repent and come unto me; for mine arm is lengthened out all the day long, saith the Lord God of Hosts.
God does not give up on us. He will wait all day for us to come to ourselves and seek his face. He is anxious to bless us with his power, grace, and mercy. Like the father of the prodigal son, God always has his eye on the pathway that leads to him. We barely have to put a foot on the path, and he rushes to us.
