Alma 5:33
Behold, he sendeth an invitation unto all men, for the arms of mercy are extended towards them, and he saith: Repent, and I will receive you.
It doesn't matter how disobedient we have been if we sincerely repent and invite the Savior into our life. He will be merciful. Elder Jeffrey R. Holland shared this thought: "Surely the thing God enjoys most about being God is the thrill of being merciful, especially to those who don’t expect it and often feel they don’t deserve it." (General Conference, April 2012)
